Thank You for Visiting. This site will be under construction for the next few weeks.

Displays are Everywhere from Time Square to the Palm of your hand, my Vision is to improve the expectation in display and interface technologies. LCD's transmit just 7% to 12% of the backlight luminance. Displays with resistive touch screens reflect 20% of the suns ambient light washing out the image.
Lets explore our solutions - lets raise our expectations!

Ideas always welcome, as are suggestions for inclusion. Thank You, Diggy R. Breiling, CPIM, ASQ CSSBB

  • Imagine the Possibilities - Made of Glass -

Corning presents a vision for Improved display performance. As i watch it is fun to think of the enabling technologies which could fill the gap between this vision and the real world technologies.

In recent years we have become familiar with Corning Products such as the touch Gorilla Glass and Cornings new even stronger Lotus Glass .

    Front of Screen

Your have selected a display with a bright backlight, high contrast, and Optical Bonding or Anti-Refelction films to reduce glare. Time and again we see a highly reflective touch panels placed in front of our displays adding 16% reflection and destroying contrast in high ambient lighting, add fingerprints and you know what it looks like. Lets use technologies reduce or elimate these effects..

  • Multi-Touch Screens

I recall myexcitment excitment when I first viewed Jeff Han's 2006 TED presentation on Multi-Touch, it gave me chills thinking of the gaps in human/computer interface this will close. That year Perceptive Pixel launched and today all other touch manufacuters seem to be onboard with the future of multi-touch.
I am Excited to see software catching up with this technology and would be thrilled to get involved with another Touch Screen or Multi Touch Application Developemnt Project

The Business of Quality

Having worked my way into Manufacturing Management and Engineering Positions at an youthful age I often faced supply chain and quality issues . These non-technical hurdles had to be faced to be successful, so while I am firmly grounded in process of the technologies, the process of doing business now hold no less than equal interest.

I've since become involved in APICS, ASQ, and PMI Profesional Organizations, obtained certifications, and now plan on spreading what I have learned through my cumulative life experience.

I'm a lifelong learner at heart I've found that my deepest understanding comes from teaching others. I plan to be furthing my teaching experience through Train the Trainer and Learning Dynamics classes in 1st Quarter of 2012.
